Haworth Hodgkinson / Mandy Macdonald / Colin Edwards: Improvisation
The pieces in today's concert have all been written or devised by the members of Intuitive Music Aberdeen.
Our opening piece, Freak Out, responds to written instructions and is set here for recorder, bowed psaltery and keyboard.
Economic Suite interprets a 'found' score based on an analysis of economic relations in some EU countries. Each of its three parts is devised by a different member of the group.
We end our recital with a free improvisation for three keyboards, taking our inspiration from our physical surroundings in the Cathedral.
Performers
